Who we are
WP Moo is a service of tukkr LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States of America. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about it, or about your data, go to [email protected].
Your data and your clients' data
This policy covers the data we collect for ourselves: your waitlist entry, your account, the email you send us and your visits to this website.
The sites you monitor, their check results and the alert addresses you add are data we process for you. For that data you are in charge, and the data processing agreement sets out how we handle it. Check results are deleted after 90 days.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address and, if you fill them in, your company, how many sites you look after, whether you host your clients' sites and the tool you use now.
We use it to invite people in small batches and to see who the beta suits best. We keep it until you create an account, which removes your entry, or until you ask us to remove it at [email protected]. If we close the waitlist, we delete the entries that are left.
We rely on your consent, which you give by joining and can withdraw at any time.
Your account
For your account we store your name, email address, company, time zone, a hashed version of your password, and when you accepted which version of the terms. While you're logged in, we also store your IP address and browser in your session, so we can keep you logged in and spot sessions that aren't yours.
We use it to run WP Moo for you and to send account email: verifying your address, resetting your password and telling you about changes to your account. We need it to provide the service you signed up for. Your name, email address and a password are required to create an account; without them we can't provide WP Moo. Everything else is optional.
We keep it as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, everything is deleted after 14 days, unless you log in to restore it before then.
To keep the service safe, our application logs record errors and suspicious requests with your IP address and account ID, which is in our legitimate interest of keeping WP Moo secure. Logs are deleted after 14 days, error reports after 90 days.
Email to us
When you email our support, bug or feature request addresses, we receive your email address, name and whatever you write or attach. We use it to answer you and to improve WP Moo, which is in both our interests.
Emails are stored with Fastmail, by Fastmail Pty Ltd in Australia. A copy also goes to Linear, by Linear Orbit, Inc., which we use to keep track of questions, bugs and feature requests. Both store them in the United States, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We keep emails and their copies as long as you have an account, and delete them 3 years after that. Without an account, we delete them 3 years after the conversation ends.
Visiting our website
On wp-moo.com, including the dashboard, we use Google Analytics, by Google Ireland Limited, to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from, and how many of them join the waitlist, sign up, add their first site and see its first check pass. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser and receives the page you view, the page you came from, your browser, device and approximate location. It does not store your IP address. In the dashboard it only receives the kind of page you view, such as "site overview", never its address or title, so it doesn't see your name, email address or sites. We don't use it for advertising.
We only use Google Analytics with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Cookie settings in the footer. Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep analytics data for 14 months.
Cookies
Our own cookies are only the ones the site needs to work, including the one that remembers your answer about analytics, so they don't need your consent. The Google Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

Who we share data with
We don't sell your data and we don't share it for advertising. We use a few companies to host and run WP Moo and to handle the email you send us; they only process data on our instructions. They are listed in the data processing agreement. Besides them, we use Google for website analytics.
We only give data to others when the law requires it.
Where your data is stored
WP Moo and its database run on servers in the European Union. tukkr LLC is a company in the United States; where our own access counts as a transfer out of the EU, it is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we have about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, or to give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere. You can object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent where we rely on it. We don't make decisions about you based only on automated processing, and we don't profile you. Most of your account details can be changed in Account settings.
Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, such as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For a change that matters to you, we email account holders before it applies.
