Many sites share one hosting server. When that server has a problem, all its sites go offline at once. Tell WP Moo which sites share a server, and a list of offline sites becomes one clear status: the server is down.

What the server status means
For your developer
The match reads the A and AAAA records of the main address's host from public resolvers (1.1.1.1, then 9.9.9.9). To see what we see:
dig +short A www.example.com @1.1.1.1
dig +short AAAA www.example.com @1.1.1.1
Server addresses are single IPs; ranges (CIDR) aren't accepted. A site is behind Cloudflare when an address is in Cloudflare's published ranges or its latest page response carried a CF-RAY header. A failed lookup changes nothing; a name that no longer exists removes a DNS match.
